Rental Rates

As part of your rental, we include a reasonable supply of: Clean linens & towels, laundry, garbage bags (local garbage pick up), main condiments (ketchup, mustard, relish, salt, pepper…), spare propane tank, jug of drinking water, camp fire wood, toilet paper, coffee / tea hot chocolate, paper towels, cleaning supplies … Don’t be stressed as to how to fill your car with all these items. Just check in and relax.

Regular Rates

High Season: Weekly rate: $8,000 (July – September Long Weekend)

Mid Season: Weekly rate: $5,000 (April, May, June, September, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)

Low Season: Weekly Rate: $3,000 (all other times)

Extra Fees: Cleaning Service: $200. NO PETS (unless approved by owners at $75/dog – non-shedding dogs ok but MUST be cleaned up after)

House Rules & Cancellations

A binder will be provided ahead of check in with additional information.

Check In / Check Out: 11AM & 3PM (we can be flexible)

Number of guests: Maximum 11

Water: This cottage draws water from the lake and has a UV light water filtration system. Although tap water is safe for drinking, included in your cottage rental is one 5 gallon jug of fresh water for drinking.

Cottage Cleaning: The cottage must be left in the same condition as you found it.

Garbage: There is local garbage and recycling. This is included as part of your rental at no charge – as long as rules are followed (available in our binder). If not, a $100 per bag charge will be added for disposal.

Wood Fires: Small campfires are permitted as long as allowed by the local fire department and Ministry of Natural Resources guidelines. Our fire pit is located near the water’s edge, so that you can put it out before going to bed.

No Extra Guests/Parties: Although the cottage is private, this is a no party cottage. If there are any noise complaints from the neighbours (or authorities), the owner will have the right to hold back some or all of the damage deposit. Some of this money held back may or may not go to appease the neighbours who have been inconvenienced.

No Fireworks: Fireworks are not permitted at this cottage.

Smoking: Our cottage was recently renovated from top to bottom and we are non smokers. Therefore, there is NO smoking of any kind in the interior.

Damage Deposit: If there is any damage to the cottage the owner will make necessary fixes and reduce amount from damage deposit (receipts will be provided).

Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation must be in writing and emailed. If cancelled within 90 days, we will issue a full refund. If within 90 days of the rental, we shall try to re-rent the property for the period of the original booking. If we are successful in re-renting, we will refund all original funds. If we are not successful in re-renting, we will reimburse 50% of the original deposit. If the outstanding balance of the rental fee is not received 30 days prior to the commencement of your rental period, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and withold your deposit.
