Welcome to the Lake House on Clear Lake. This quiet, recently renovated cottage located in the heart of the Kawartha’s is waiting for you. Relax and enjoy great level waterfront on one of the nicest lakes in the Kawartha’s. Enjoy modern, comfortable bedrooms & living spaces, clear water and beautiful sunrises on this flat level property. The Clear Lake Lakehouse is a single family getaway that offers something for every age group. The Clear Lake Lakehouse was completely renovated from top to bottom by a local design company in 2022.

What Makes The Rental Special?

Location: One of the best (and most convenient) lakes in the Kawarthas. Large views, deep clean water, yet close to amenities.

Recently Renovated & Clean: All items in the cottage (furniture, mattresses, kitchen accessories…..) were purchased in 2022.

Included With Rental: As former renters for over 15 years, we learned what we loved (and not so much) about our experience. As such, we include convenience to make your life easier, such as clean linens and towels, laundry, local garbage pick up, condiments, spare propane, bottled water, camp fire wood, coffee / tea, kayaks, stand up paddle board … You do not need to be stressed as to how to fill your car with all these items. We want you to check in and relax.

Location

We are a quick drive (less than 10 minutes) to shops, restaurants, Tim Hortons, grocery, beer & liquor stores, and a short drive (less than 20 minutes) to the City of Peterborough. Also nearby are golf courses, walking trails, and many provincial attractions such as the Petroglyphs and the Warsaw Caves Provincial Parks. But, the property is very large and you will feel private.

Clear Lake

Clear Lake is located at the North West end of Stoney Lake (both lakes are attached) and offer miles of picturesque boating. Also conveniently located on the same waterway as the Trent Severn, you can boat to other lakes, restaurants and even shopping. If fishing is for you – a number of species can be found from Walleye (Pickerel), Muskie, Bass, Black Crappie, Blue Gill, Perch.

  • Upper Level: Master bedroom with Queen bed, double bed, & 1/2 washroom
  • Main Level: 2 Bedrooms (sleeps 5), kitchen, family room with wood fireplace, deck, main washroom (with shower), laundry (washer & dryer)
  • Kitchen: Fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, Keurig coffee maker, oven and fridge. Cottage water is taken from the lake and is tested regularly for drinking which is safe. We do include a spare jug (5 gallon) of drinking water.
  • Leisure: Board games, puzzles, books.
  • Comfort: Electric baseboards, efficient wood fireplace, air conditioning.

Exterior

  • Property: 8+ parking spots, private, level lot (2 steps to enter cottage), child / elderly friendly
  • Waterfront: 100+ feet of waterfront, steps down to water, 2 docks (with seating)
  • Deck: Shade umbrellas, dining table & chairs for 8, comfortable seating, Sonos outdoor speakers; propane BBQ, outdoor fire table
  • Swimming: Can dive from end of docks into water (water shoes recommended)
  • Leisure: Walking trails from cottage, outdoor wood firepit; 2 x Kayaks; 1 inflatable (Level 6) SUP stand up paddle board
  • Sunrise (cottage faces East)
